Hilary Swank announced that her three-year-old twins, Kaya and Oghm, are eagerly awaiting the arrival of a younger brother or sister. The 52-year-old actress shared this in an interview with People at the EWG Verified Pop-Up event in New York City on October 15.
Swank revealed that her children are very excited about the upcoming addition to the family: «They are so excited, and I’m due around Christmas, so when they see babies in restaurants, they come up and say, ‘Can I tell you something? My mom is having a baby, and it’s coming at Christmas.'» She added that the twins ask, «Is it Christmas yet?» and believes it will be the best Christmas gift.
The actress announced her pregnancy on October 14, noting that she and her husband, Philip Schneider, are expecting their third child. On her Instagram, she posted a video of her family dancing with glow sticks and added that many are asking about her upcoming projects, one of which will be released in December.
Swank also discussed the reaction to her pregnancy at 52 during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show. She noted that women often face criticism for having children later in life, while men do not experience the same pressure. Swank recounted a comment from a woman who expressed discontent about her age and mentioned that she would prefer to have the opportunity to give birth, even if it comes with the loss of a loved one.
