Halle Berry denies Olivier Martinez’s allegations of child abuse

Halle Berry responded to allegations from her ex-husband Olivier Martinez regarding physical abuse towards their son Maceo in new court documents. In materials obtained by the publication Extra, Berry claims that a photo taken by Maceo after the incident does not support Martinez’s allegations.
Last week, Martinez filed court documents that included a photograph of Halle taken by their son after he refused to take off his Oculus headset. In the court documents, Berry stated that there are no signs of injury on Maceo in the photo, such as redness or bruises. She emphasized that in the only photo identified by Martinez, she appears calm, with her hands in her pockets, standing away from her son.
In her documents, Berry also included text messages that she claims confirm Martinez is distorting the terms of their joint custody agreement. She explained why she does not want their son to testify. The documents state that Van Hunt, who was present at the time of the incident, is the only adult witness, while Nala Aubry, who lives with Halle and Maceo, has a unique opportunity to observe their relationship and parenting.
Berry asserts that Martinez «taught and manipulated» Maceo, while Martinez’s attorney, Patrick Baghdasarian, told People that they firmly reject such allegations. He noted that «the child is the primary victim» and should have the opportunity to testify about the violence he experienced. The next court hearing is scheduled for October 16.
