Holly Robinson Peete shared her thoughts on her longtime friend Leah Remini officially joining the cast of «The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills». In an interview with Us, she admitted that she was surprised and a bit upset when she learned about it. «I heard like everyone else, and I got a little mad because I don’t like getting news like that», - Holly said.
According to her, she immediately wrote to Leah, who confirmed her participation in the project. Holly noted that she already has experience with friends appearing on reality shows, and it is never easy. «These shows can be brutal; they can damage friendships and relationships», - she added.
Nevertheless, Holly is confident that Leah will be able to handle the challenges that await her on the show. She mentioned that Leah recently invited her to one of the parties, and Holly happily accepted, although she jokingly noted that she could be her bodyguard.
Holly is also working on organizing her foundation’s annual event, which helps families affected by autism and Parkinson’s disease. Additionally, she is writing a memoir in which she will share her friendship with Leah, which began during their time working together at CBS on «The Talk». «It's an honest story that I’ve kept to myself for many years», - she noted.
