In a video released by the FBI on February 10, a person wearing a full face mask and black gloves can be seen approaching Nancy’s door and attempting to damage her security cameras. FBI Director Kash Patel made a statement regarding this video, saying: «For the past eight days, the FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department have been working closely with our partners in the private sector to recover any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home that may have been lost, damaged, or inaccessible for various reasons, including the removal of recording devices. The video was recovered from residual data in the backend systems».
«Working with our partners, law enforcement discovered these previously unavailable new images on the morning of this day, showing an armed individual apparently attempting to damage the camera at Nancy Guthrie’s door during the early hours of her disappearance», - Patel added in his statement.
As authorities have been unable to locate Nancy and do not know her whereabouts, it remains unclear whether she is alive. Savannah acknowledged in an Instagram video that her mother «may be lost… may already be dead», - but she does not lose hope that Nancy will be found
