Megan Thee Stallion has been accused of sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment by her former operator Emilio Garcia. The photographer filed a lawsuit on April 23, 2024 in the Supreme Court of Los Angeles County against Stallion and her companies Hot Girl Touring LLC, Megan Thee Stallion Entertainment, Inc. and Roc Nation. According to court documents obtained by multiple sources, Garcia pointed to an alleged incident in 2022 when he and the rapper «Hot Girl Summer» were in a car. He accused her of forcing him to watch sexual contact between her and an unidentified woman.

As reported by NBC News, Garcia claimed that he was locked in a moving car in Spain next to Stallion when she was having sex with a woman in June 2022. According to Garcia’s lawsuit, he claimed that Stallion told him «never discuss what you saw», - and then humiliated and insulted him, allegedly calling him a «fat bitch». Furthermore, he stated that he was «embarrassed, insulted, and humiliated throughout all of this».

Garcia added in the lawsuit that the «harassment was so severe or pervasive» that it created a «hostile, aggressive work environment», - making his «working conditions intolerable».

Speaking to NBC, Garcia noted that he «felt uncomfortable» after the alleged sexual incident, adding: «I was kind of frozen, and I was shocked. Essentially, it was just audacity to do it right, right next to me».

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Garcia also claimed that he was improperly paid throughout his tenure. He claimed that he was misclassified as an independent contractor, leaving him without health insurance and overtime pay. Additionally, he claimed that he was not given breaks or rest while working with the artist «Not My Fault».

Garcia was Stallion’s personal operator. He began working for her in 2018, hailing from Texas. In 2019, the video operator quit his job to work for her full-time. After expressing his complaints about his work to her, Garcia was fired in June 2023, according to his lawsuit.

Through her attorney Alex Spiro, Stallion responded to Garcia’s lawsuit. She plans to fight his claims in court.

«This is a labor relations lawsuit about money — without any claim of sexual harassment and with claims to try to humiliate her», - Spiro said in a statement to Page Six. «We will deal with this in court».
