Just a month ago, Isabella Strahan was ringing the bell. Now she is sharing that she has finally beaten cancer!

The daughter of «Good Morning America» host Michael Strahan, 19-year-old Isabella, announced this news on Thursday in a new blog titled «Goodbye, Hospital» in her YouTube series, where she documented her recovery after an emergency operation in October 2023 to remove a large medulloblastoma (malignant tumor) in her brain.

«Great scans, all clear. No cancer», - Isabella said, looking at her MRI scans at Duke Children’s Hospital and Health Center in Durham, North Carolina. «Everything is great. I don’t have another doctor’s appointment until October».

She smiled as she announced the news, but also acknowledged that it was a bittersweet farewell, as she will miss all of her doctors, considering all the time she spent with them during the difficult eight months.

«I already miss my doctors and everyone who helped me because they are all so nice», - she said. «I feel like today I am sad, knowing that I won’t be back for a while, because I love them so much».

A student at the University of Southern California, who received treatment at Duke Children’s Hospital and Health Center in Durham, North Carolina, Isabella also described the pain she experienced after having chemotherapy removed through a port — which she also documented in a blog earlier this week.

«My side hurts a lot. It feels like I’ve been punched», - she said. «I thought it wouldn’t hurt so much, probably because it’s all over… I also feel like the tube went into my heart because my heart started to spasm. I don’t know if that’s supposed to happen… It’s definitely not pleasant».

Isabella was initially diagnosed in October 2023 after experiencing headaches when she started studying at the University of Southern California in the fall, initially thinking it could be vertigo. She was urgently sent for surgery before her 19th birthday in December 2023.

In her blog from June 16, she showed how she rang the hospital bell three times to mark the end of her journey with cancer, surrounded by family and hospital staff who supported her with the song «Celebrate!» by Kool & the Gang.

She also marked the completion of her fourth and final round of chemotherapy in a TikTok video earlier this month.

In the clip, she danced wearing a golden crown with her twin sister Sofia, to the music of Bryson Tiller’s «Let 'Em Know». «Did it», - she captioned the upload.

Although her next blog from the hospital will not be until October, Isabella said she may film a blog about her return to college
