Jax Taylor received divorce papers on camera during filming of The Valley

Bravo fans will apparently get to see the moment when Jax Taylor receives divorce papers during the second season of the show «Valley».
On Wednesday, August 28, TMZ reported that the reality show star, 45-year-old Taylor, received official notice that his ex-wife, 35-year-old Brittany Cartwright, had filed for divorce — and cameras captured everything for the reality show «Vanderpump Rules» on Tuesday.
This happened just one day after it was revealed that Cartwright had filed for divorce after five years of marriage, citing the official separation date as January 24 and citing «irreconcilable differences». Cartwright also wants primary legal and physical custody of their 3-year-old son Cruz, with visitation rights for Taylor.
Taylor was served the papers at their joint sports bar, Jax’s Studio City, by a third party.
The former spouses, both of whom appear on «Valley», did not film a scene together, but Cartwright filmed a video for the show on the day of filing. Hours after filing, she was photographed heading to dinner with «Valley» co-star Zach Wickham at the Japanese restaurant Taisho in Sherman Oaks, California. Meanwhile, Taylor was spotted having dinner with divorce attorney and «Valley» co-star Jesse Lally at the popular restaurant Craig’s in West Hollywood.
A source told Page Six that the former «Vanderpump Rules» cast member feels good after Cartwright filed for divorce, as he also «100 percent agrees with the divorce».
«He has long been over the marriage», - the source added. «He just wants to have a friendly co-parenting relationship».
Earlier in August, Taylor completed a month-long treatment in a facility for his «mental health issues». His representative told Us Weekly in a statement: «Jax has spent the last 30 days seeking treatment and will be returning home later this week. It has been an emotional month for him, and he is most looking forward to spending time with his son».
Cartwright, who married Taylor in June 2019, previously revealed on February 29 in an episode of their joint podcast «When Reality Hits» that she and Taylor were going their separate ways.
«I know in my last podcast I hinted that many marriages go through tough times», - she said. «Yes, marriages in general are very difficult, and I had an especially tough year last year. Jax and I decided to take a break, and I made the decision to move to a different house to take some space for my mental health».
She added: «I am living one day at a time. I don’t know what the future holds for me, but right now my focus is on being the best mom for Cruz»
