Jelly Roll and his wife Bunnie Ho are taking steps to expand their family once again. On Tuesday, June 4, in an episode of the podcast «Bussin' With the Boys», - Jelly Roll, 39, shared personal news that he and his wife are discussing the possibility of having a child together.
«My wife and I are talking about having a baby, and it really made me realize that at almost 40 years old, I thought, 'This means I need to live at least until 60. I need to see this child go to college,'» the «Need a Favor» singer shared, also discussing the motivation behind his weight loss journey. «I thought every problem I ever faced in life would be solved if I ever achieved any success and stability. And then I started achieving success and stability, and all those problems were still not solved».
The country artist continued, «My plan was never to be 60. It was, let’s say, 55. But now I’m thinking, 'Well, I’d like to see my 60s.' You get me? And that really fired me up».
In a separate social media post, Bunnie Ho, 44, joined the conversation and confirmed that they have been meeting with IVF doctors and «exploring all our options to expand our family».
«We planned to do this privately, but decided our IVF journey should be shared because we’ve always been so open», - she wrote on Instagram. «And with such odds against us, it’s already been tough, and we’ve only just begun. J and I are so excited and scared at the same time».
Although Jelly Roll already has a daughter, Bailei Ann, 16, and a son, Noah Buddy, 7, from previous relationships, the idea of having a child with Bunnie Ho has now become a possibility.
«We really never thought we’d want to expand our family, but something changed this year», - Bunnie Ho explained. «We both just want a piece of us together to add to our already perfect family with Bailei and Noah».
Jelly Roll and Bunnie Ho’s love story began in 2015 when they met at a concert. The couple got engaged in 2016 and married on the same day in a Las Vegas chapel.
«Flowers, posts, love letters, etc. — it's constant in our relationship», - the singer shared via Instagram, marking Valentine’s Day in February. «But I will never miss an opportunity to show this beautiful woman»
