Under the image of the track’s title, he captioned the post: «'I Am Not Okay' will be released on June 12, click the link to pre-save! I’m not okay, but everything will be okay».
The new music was released shortly after the country singer told Jon Bon Jovi that he was having difficulties touring abroad due to his troubled past when he was incarcerated for drug trafficking. «Funny, America finally agreed to let me leave and give me a passport, but some countries won’t let me in because of my crimes», - Jelly Roll said, speaking to Jon in an interview for Interview Magazine. «We're working on it.
