Now she steps into an even brighter spotlight as one of the celebrities competing on the dance show Dancing with the Stars season 34, which premiered on September 16, 2025.

Jen met her husband, Zack Affleck, on the Mormon dating app Mutual when she was just 18 years old. The couple got married in 2019 and quickly started a family. They are raising three children: Nora, their eldest daughter; Lucas (nicknamed Luke), their son; and baby Penelope («Penny»), who was born in July 2025.
Although her last name sparked curiosity, Jen has no real connection to Hollywood actor Ben Affleck. Her husband Zack once joked, claiming to be Ben’s cousin, but later clarified that it was just a joke that got out of hand. However, the viral moment brought even more attention to Jen online. She even used the coincidence, appearing in a Dunkin' ad called «The Affleck Family» alongside the movie star himself.
Jen joined DWTS season 34 as one of the 14 celebrity participants, partnered with professional dancer Jan Ravnik. Additionally, her fellow The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives castmate Whitney Levitt is also competing this season, paired with professional Mark Ballas.
