Jenn Tran does not hide her feelings towards her ex-fiancé, Devin Strader, as she openly stated in a recent interview. «To hell with you», - said the 26-year-old star of «The Bachelorette» during her breakup with her 28-year-old finalist.
During a conversation with Entertainment Tonight, the star of the 21st season of the reality show was open about her emotions. «I'm still processing all of this, it was like a whirlwind. I’m so grateful to receive all this support, and honestly, it means so much to me to have such a community of women who really support me. I feel good about what happened yesterday. I think it’s the next step in my healing process», - she shared.
This comes as Jenn prepares to compete in the 33rd season of Dancing With the Stars, shortly after announcing the cancellation of her engagement to Devin. The final episode showed the couple leaving Hawaii happily, taking their relationship to the next level after she proposed to him before he could propose to her. However, during the «After the Final» segment, Jenn revealed that Devin started to distance himself after the show ended. «No calls or messages», - she explained to host Jesse Palmer live on air, «I felt like I was on the back burner compared to everything else in his life, and I didn’t understand why».
Their relationship ended over the phone, with Jenn revealing that Devin «just said he no longer loves me and doesn’t feel the same… He regretted the engagement. And I didn’t know. I always knew it was different». Devin later posted and then deleted screenshots of their conversations on social media, trying to justify the breakup. He confessed live on air: «I realized I couldn’t meet those expectations in the real world. I realized I couldn’t meet the things you need and deserve. I saw how I contributed to your setback, and it hurt me. You don’t deserve to sacrifice your standards to be happy».
Jenn is now turning the page, competing alongside several other stars, including Olympians Stephen Nedrosick and Ilona Maher, on Dancing With the Stars, which will premiere on September 17 on ABC and Disney+
