Jeremy Allen White returned for his second Calvin Klein campaign — and this one, perhaps, is more passionate than his first. The 33-year-old star of the film «Bear» stripped down for another photoshoot with the brand, showing off his toned abs.
Calvin Klein unveiled the campaign images and videos on Tuesday, August 27. According to X, the brand described Jeremy as a «sun-drenched daydream». In one of the photos, the Hulu actor was wearing only a pair of gray Calvin Klein briefs, lounging on a chair covered with a white blanket.
Throughout the campaign video, the actor was seen in the company of a cute dog, wearing a denim vest. In another clip, Jeremy emerged from a pool, dripping wet.
«The Calvin Klein aesthetic has always been timeless, and it was great to return to them and the entire creative team for this new campaign», - Jeremy said in a statement.
As seen from Jeremy’s first collaboration with the brand, the photoshoot took place in New York, not Los Angeles. The ad showed the Iron Claw actor stripping down to white underwear before doing a few pull-ups. However, the viral shot was of Jeremy lying on a red couch on a rooftop.
Although Jeremy’s rise to stardom began in 2022 when he landed a role in the film «Bear», - his first Calvin Klein ad caused a widespread buzz on social media. In an interview with Esquire, the Brooklyn resident recalled the internet’s reaction to the ad.
«I got a lot of messages about it», - he told the publication. «I didn’t tell many people about it».
Comparing the photoshoot on the East Coast to the West, Jeremy noted that the recent one, held in Los Angeles, «was really nice» and described the Calvin Klein location in Beverly Hills.
«For this photoshoot, we were in this beautiful house in Beverly Hills, and you could see the entire Los Angeles skyline from there — you could see all the way to the ocean», - he said. «It was so welcoming and wonderful. I was shooting 'Bear' in Chicago from February and wrapped on Friday at 30°F, then got on a plane to California and was jumping around a pool at this gorgeous house. It was fresh and different from our previous campaign, where you’re looking at Manhattan, but you also have a common thread through the iconic cityscape, just on a different coast»
