Actress Jessica Szohr, known for the series «Gossip Girl», - can now be referred to as Mrs. Richardson after her recent marriage to former NHL player Brad Richardson.
The 39-year-old actress said «yes» on August 11, several years after first meeting Brad at the Coachella festival in 2018. Their wedding was a four-day celebration attended by 150 guests, including her former co-star Chase Crawford, who played Nate in «Gossip Girl», - and her close friend, actress Nina Dobrev, who served as a witness.

The event took place in Flagstaff, Arizona, at Pine Canyon, a place that holds special meaning for the couple. Jessica explained, «This place has given us so many memories as a family over the past couple of years… There’s such an atmosphere in the mountains. I wanted to combine that with a gorgeous, fashionable dress, but still wanted the flowers to have a bohemian look. It was like putting together a puzzle».
In the photos published in The Knot, Jessica wore a white wedding dress with long sleeves, semi-transparent, while her 39-year-old husband looked elegant in a black suit with a matching bow tie.
Having 35-year-old actress «The Vampire Diaries» as a witness was a huge help in planning the wedding. Jessica told the publication, «I couldn’t believe how magical and special she made everything… I said that whoever gets married next in our friend group, I feel sorry for them if Nina isn’t their witness».
As Jessica walked down the aisle, her veil embroidered with the words «take time to smell the roses» in honor of her late grandfather, fluttered behind her. She paused for a moment to take in the scene, from her daughter and guests to her husband waiting for her at the end of the aisle. «When I turned around and saw all these faces that I love, it looked like a picture… Everything was so beautiful».
