Jodie shared a video of political comedian Walter Masterson, parodying the outrage surrounding this and how malicious actors easily manipulate people, causing outrage. «Tell me you know nothing about art or history without telling me you know nothing about art and history», - she wrote, thanking the comedian.
After the games, Candace posted a video saying that the ceremony «mocked» Christians and made her «very sad». She noted that people pointed to the connection with Dionysus, but she did not see how the Greek god is related to the Olympics, originating from ancient Greece. «Dionysus; god of lust, madness, religious ecstasy, ritual madness, etc. I still don’t see how this is related to uniting the world through competitive sports and suitable for children.
