Jon Bon Jovi revealed that a note left in his yearbook by his high school sweetheart, Dorothea Hurley, inspired one of his hits on the Kelly Clarkson show on June 5th. «Jon, write a sequel to 'Bobby's Girl,' but call it 'Now She’s Johnny… Love, Dot,'» read the note written by his wife.
During an interview with Kelly Clarkson, the 62-year-old rock star shared the story of this note written by a girl who sat next to him in history class, and how it led to the creation of one of his popular songs, «Bobby's Girl».
«I had a song that I wrote called 'Bobby's Girl'… It was one of the first original songs that I wrote. She was dating my friend Bobby. He went off to the army, as did my two best friends… They went into the Navy. And it was my senior year, and I just fell in love», - said Jon Bon Jovi.
The memories of the singer of «Livin' On a Prayer» came shortly after rumors of his infidelities arose due to comments he made in the Hulu documentary «Thank You, Goodnight: The Story of Bon Jovi».
«I'm not saying I didn’t have 100 girls in my life… I’m Jon Bon Jovi. It was pretty good», - he admitted. Additionally, he told The Independent, «It's all wonderful rock star clichés… It’s about never lying about being a saint, but also not being a fool to ruin your home life».
