In January 2025, Joy was named in a lawsuit against former Fox Sports executive program director Charlie Dixon. The lawsuit, filed by former Fox Sports hairstylist Noshin Faradji, accused Charlie of workplace sexual harassment and sexual assault, and also claimed that Joy allegedly advised Noshin to «just get over it» when Noshin claimed that Charlie had physically touched and hugged her at a party in West Hollywood in January 2017.
The lawsuit also claimed that Joy began to insult Noshin and mock the pronunciation of her name, and allegedly had a romantic relationship with Charlie.
Joy denied the accusations against her and took a two-week leave from the end of February to the beginning of March 2025.
It is unclear where Joy could work next, but since she has already established a platform for herself, she could focus on hosting a podcast, as other media personalities have done in the past.
