Julianna Margulies will not be returning to the show «Morning Show» for the fourth season. Starting in season 2, the 58-year-old actress is saying goodbye to the role of Reese Witherspoon’s lover in the show.
According to a source who spoke with Variety, she declined to appear in one episode of the fourth season.
This decision was made after the finale of the third season, where she hoped to see growth in her character, Laura Peterson. «We are very, very early in the process, but I think I would like to explore [Laura] more… Her complexity. Not just 'I'm Laura and I love Bradley, and she sometimes annoys me!' I think there is more to Laura than that», - showrunner Charlotte Stoudt told Variety.
