Justin Timberlake paused his concert in Texas on Saturday, June 1st. After performing his classic song «Cry Me a River», - Justin, 43, stopped the show to allow a security guard to easily make his way through the crowd and help a fan in need. It is unclear what exactly happened to the fan, but it seemed that everything was resolved and they were okay.
Towards the end of the song, Justin walked to the edge of the stage, but began gesturing towards the security guard to send him to the fan. He started signaling for them to come to the center of the barriers and pointing in the crowd where they needed to go. When a person filming turned to the audience, several nearby concert-goers could be seen pointing to where the fan was having trouble, and the guard jumped over the barrier to assist. After the song, Justin made sure they were provided with the necessary help. «Lights on. Thank you. Sorry, everyone. One second», - he said. «We need help right here, about five rows back».
In response to @shellbell4190, the fan was okay! 🙏 «The singer and songwriter took the stage at the Moody Center in Austin — on Saturday night… and during his performance, he stopped and shouted for the lights to be turned on in the venue». — @TMZ #justintimberlake #forgettomorrowtour @Justin Timberlake
A little later, pausing the show, Justin made sure the audience member was feeling okay. «Are we okay? No, no problems. Okay, we’re good!» he said before returning to the concert. Fortunately, after the security intervention, everything seemed to be back on track.
Many praised JT in the comments. «Thank you so much, Justin, for caring about the situation and reacting quickly», - one person wrote. «As a paramedic who has worked at MANY concerts, it is very helpful when an artist does this. I have nothing but respect for him for doing so», - another fan commented.
Justin is not the only pop star who has recently paused their concerts to ensure a fan feels okay in the crowd. In May, Taylor Swift stopped one of her «Eras Tour» shows in Madrid when a fan needed help. She stopped playing and asked for «ayuda, por favor», - and security came and assisted
