Justin Timberlake returns to Instagram for the first time since his arrest. On Tuesday, June 25, the 43-year-old singer shared a video on his social profile showcasing his Forget Tomorrow World Tour merchandise in the colors of the New York Knicks.
«This is so important right now… Let’s go! We’ve got your Knicks colors», - the performer of the hit «Rock Your Body» was heard saying in the video.
«We had to do this @nyknicks», - he captioned the post.
The video appeared almost a week after his arrest in New York for driving under the influence. Justin was issued two fines and one charge of driving under the influence.
Sag Harbor police stated: «It was determined that the suspect was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, his eyes were red and glassy, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanated from his mouth, he was unable to focus, his speech was slurred, he was unsteady on his feet, and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests».
That night, Justin, who reportedly refused to take an alcohol test three times after his arrest, allegedly told an officer: «I had one martini and I was following my friends home». In his defense, the bartender who served him that evening stated to People: «If he was drinking more, it wasn’t with us».
Despite the difficulties he faced, he received support from his wife, Jessica Biel, who was seen at his recent concert in New York, dancing and singing in the crowd.
He also sought support from his fans, mentioning the incident at his concert in Chicago: «We've been through ups and downs, lefts and rights, and, um, it’s been a tough week… But you’re here.
