Vice President Kamala Harris is nearing the end of her election campaign. After President Joe Biden declined to run for re-election earlier this summer, he immediately endorsed the Vice President. She later accepted the Democratic Party’s nomination and embarked on her campaign. With rallies against Republican candidate Donald Trump, Harris traveled through several swing states to encourage voters to vote for her.

Harris delivered a powerful speech on October 29 at the same location where Trump had appeared a few hours earlier before the attack on the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.
«America, we know what Donald Trump has in mind. More chaos. More division», - said the former prosecutor, addressing a crowd of thousands. «And a politics that helps those at the very top and hurts everyone else. I offer a different path. And I ask for your vote».
Comparing her rhetoric and policies to Trump’s, Harris concluded her speech, promising to invite voters of all backgrounds and parties to «take a seat at the table» with her.
«I promise to listen to experts, those who will be affected by my decisions, and people with whom I disagree», - she added. «Unlike Donald Trump, I don’t see people I disagree with as enemies. He wants to put them in jail. I will give them a seat at my table».
Harris' speech in front of the White House was not her last stop on the campaign trail. According to USA Today, the Vice President is expected to head to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and Raleigh, North Carolina on October 30. She will then visit the University of Wisconsin-Madison. On October 31, Harris will head west to Arizona and Nevada, the publication reports. After that, she will head to Las Vegas.
Polls show that Harris and Trump are neck and neck with voters. As of October 30, according to BBC and Projects 538, Harris has a slight advantage over Trump in the states. Harris has 48 percent, while Trump has 47 percent, according to both sources
