Kanye «Ye» West responded to a lawsuit for sexual harassment filed against the rapper by his former assistant, Lauren Pisiotto. According to a statement obtained by NBC News, West’s legal representative, 46, called Pisiotto’s lawsuit «baseless» and indicated that the artist plans to file a countersuit against her.
«In response to these baseless allegations, Ye will file a lawsuit against Ms. Pisiotto, who actively pursued him sexually to secure employment and other material benefits, and then engaged in blackmail and extortion when her advances were rebuffed», - the representative’s statement read. «It is clear that Ms. Pisiotto used her communication with Ye and his company, as well as her proximity to him, to gain material benefits, influence, and employment in inappropriate ways».

Pisiotto claimed to have collaborated with the Grammy winner on his Yeezy clothing line and worked on his album Donda.
The lawsuit also alleged that West allegedly sent her sexual photos and videos that she «did not welcome or encourage».
«The defendant [West] often told the plaintiff [Pisiotto] that he always wanted to have sex with her, and that he held these feelings for a long time», - the lawsuit claimed, according to court documents obtained by NBC News. «The defendant also falsely boasted that he had sex with the plaintiff or hinted to his friends, business partners, and musical and fashion colleagues that he was having sex with the plaintiff».
According to one claim in the lawsuit, West asked Pisiotto during a flight to Paris if she would come to his room on the plane. Pisiotto said he locked the two inside the room, closing the door because it could only be opened from the outside. Then West allegedly «masturbated under the covers» on his bed while Pisiotto was on the other side of the room. She texted another colleague to open the door and let her out of the room.
In 2022, West allegedly fired Pisiotto after she was offered a promotion to «Chief Assistant», - according to the lawsuit.
