Kanye «Ye» West has found another way to stir up controversy. Just a week after he and his wife, Bianca Chensory, appeared at the Grammys, she in a revealing outfit, the 47-year-old rapper advertised his fashion brand Yeezy on Sunday, February 9, 2025. But was it really a Super Bowl ad? As rumors continue to swirl about Yeezy.com, find out what we know about West’s ad and the controversial t-shirts his company was selling.
According to multiple sources, including The Hollywood Reporter, Los Angeles residents saw the ad after the Super Bowl, in which West directed them to his website Yeezy. The ad did not air nationally; it seemed to be a local buy for West, as the spot indicated that he was «paid by Yeezy LLC». Approximately two hours after the game, the Yeezy ad aired on Fox, according to THR.
In the short ad, West was seen lying at the dentist, filming a promo on his phone. Showing off his diamond tooth crown, Ye said, «I spent all my money on advertising on these new teeth. Again, I had to shoot it on an iPhone. Um… Um… Go to Yeezy.com».
Yeezy.com sells various products, from clothing to vinyl records and CDs. However, the day after the Super Bowl, the site only updated one item: a white t-shirt for $ 20 with an image of a black swastika — a symbol used by the Nazis in Germany in the early 20th century.
At the time of publication, the swastika t-shirts are still available on the Yeezy website. The only description of the shirts reads: «HH-01».
In the past, West has expressed his explicit support for Nazi beliefs and Adolf Hitler. Additionally, he recently made several anti-Semitic remarks on X (formerly known as Twitter) before seemingly deactivating his own account after the Super Bowl. According to CNN, the rapper «Jesus Walks» tweeted: «I'm leaving Twitter. I’m grateful to Elon [Musk] for allowing me to speak out, it was very cathartic to use the world as a soundboard [sic]».
It is unclear whether West deactivated his X account himself or if the social platform blocked him. However, according to his last tweet, West seems to have deleted it himself. Musk has never publicly responded to the rapper’s direct message.
In 2022, West was temporarily banned from Twitter for almost a year until his account was restored in 2023
