«Karate class in session! Cobra Kai is back on Netflix with its sixth season»

Karate lessons have begun! «Cobra Kai» officially appeared on the streaming platform Netflix on Thursday, July 18, with the sixth season — part one. The spin-off show, which originated from the 1984 film starring Ralph Macchio, has returned with new action.

In addition to the karate champion himself, you can see on screen the enemy of Ralph William Zabka, Xolo Mariduena, Peyton List, Tanner Buchanan, Gianni Decenzo, Mary Mouser, and others.
What to expect
Karate legends Daniel LaRusso, Johnny Lawrence, and Chozen Toguchi — all from the original film — come together to teach and train the strongest children for the Sekai Taikai tournament. While drama unfolds, antagonist John Kreese — played by Martin Kove — prepares to take over the event with his students from Cobra Kai, whom he trains for the event.

During the preparation for the Sekai Taikai tournament, they realize that only six participants can take part in the event, which becomes a problem as the Miyagi-Do team has many players. The chosen six turn out to be Miguel, Sam, Robbie, Tory, Demetri, and Devon.
As conflicts arise, Miyagi-Do player Tory decides to leave the team and join Cobra Kai. As Peyton List told Today, «After not becoming captain at Miyagi-Do and having no plans for the future, no college, she has to turn to someone who will always be there for her, no matter what she is», - so she returned to her former coach — John.
The three-part season
The sixth season will consist of 15 episodes but will be divided into three parts. After the release of five episodes, «Cobra Kai» fans can expect to see the second part in November. The third part can be watched on Netflix in 2025
