Carlin Bates announces pregnancy with her fourth child

Karlyn Bates, star of the show «Bringing Up Bates», - has announced her pregnancy. She and her husband Evan Stewart are expecting their fourth child in May of next year.
The news was shared on Instagram, where Karlyn posted photos showcasing her baby bump along with the message «Baby #4». One of the pictures features the entire family with their children: Layla (6 years old), Zade (4 years old), and Navy (1 year old). In the photoshoot, Karlyn wore a long white dress and posed with ultrasound images.
In an interview with People magazine, Karlyn explained how she found out about her pregnancy. She shared that Evan jokingly gifted her a pregnancy test during a gift exchange, and when she decided to take it, she was shocked by the positive result. Karlyn noted that she usually enjoys coming up with creative ways to tell Evan about her pregnancies, but this time she was so surprised that she told him right away.
The couple has not yet decided whether they will find out the baby’s gender in advance. Karlyn shared that they learned the gender of two of their children beforehand, but with Navy, they chose to wait. She added that if they do decide to find out, they will do so around the 20th week.
Karlyn also spoke about the challenges of pregnancy. She mentioned that this time her feelings are similar to her previous pregnancies, and she usually starts to feel unwell around the sixth week. According to her, she prefers carbohydrates during this period, as she does not like meat.
Karlyn is the ninth child in the family of Gil and Kelly Bates, who have 19 children.
