Caroline Levitt has been appointed as the new White House press secretary. Learn more about her career, personal life, and why she made history with her appointment to this position below!
Caroline is only 27 years old, making her the youngest White House press secretary. Her new role will include press briefings and providing updates to the media. On her first day at her new job, Caroline confirmed her commitment to the demands of her new role.
After working in the White House during Donald Trump’s first term, she ran for Congress in her home state of New Hampshire, but lost to Democratic representative Chris Pappas.
Caroline once dreamed of becoming a leading journalist, but changed her direction at the age of 20. She graduated from Saint Anselm College, where she wrote for the school newspaper, and openly supported Trump’s previous policies. Her passion for politics ignited, and while Trump served his first term as president, she began working in the White House press office for Kayleigh McEnany. Since then, she has continued to climb the career ladder.
Caroline gave birth to Nicholas Robert, or «Nico», - who is about 7 months old. The caring mother shared her happiness on Instagram and wrote: «July 10, 2024. 23:25. The moment our son was born. The moment I officially became a mother. The best moment of my life».
She continued: «It's true when they say there is nothing like the love you feel for your child. My heart has expanded more than I could have ever imagined. Children are a true blessing, and I am bursting with gratitude for our beautiful, happy, healthy boy».
Caroline is married to entrepreneur Nicholas Riccio, 59, who is 32 years older than her. Her husband founded the multi-million dollar company Riccio Enterprises LLC in real estate and graduated from Plymouth University
