Kathy Hilton shares an update about her step-sister Kyle Richards.
After Mauricio Umansky was spotted kissing another woman on July 18 upon arriving in Greece, Hilton told E! News how the «Real Housewives of Beverly Hills» star is «holding up». Hilton also shared that she told Richards that there will be more moments like her current situation ahead, as it is normal after a breakup.
«I think it was hard for her to see», - said the 65-year-old socialite to Page Six on Monday at the Sutton Green Label fashion show in Los Angeles.
«So I’m trying to calm her down a bit. 'You know, it was inevitable. You were living separately'», - Hilton added.
«Kyle is holding up», - Hilton added. «I told her, 'This won’t be the last. There will be many, many others'. I think she’s okay. I think it’s more about how the girls will perceive it».
Hilton reminded Richards, 55, that Umansky, 54, can do «whatever he wants» while she lives her life during their separation; however, Hilton noted that the real estate mogul’s new girlfriend, later identified as 33-year-old model and actress Nikita Kahn, «ran up and kissed him» at Mykonos airport last week.
The mother of four said she «knew» they would «eventually see something», - but admitted it was still painful to see.
The «Halloween» actress removed «Umansky» from her Instagram in early May — almost a year after they announced their divorce after 27 years of marriage. She also removed «wife» from her Instagram bio upon seeing them kiss publicly. Her page now reads: «Mom, actress, author, producer, animal lover, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, CAA».
The couple raises daughters Alexia, 27, Sophia, 24, and Portia, 16. The Bravo star is also the mother of daughter Farrah Brittany, 35, from a previous marriage to Guraish Aldjufri.
Hilton also told the publication that she advised her younger sister to start dating again. Now that they have been living separately for a year and Umansky has clearly moved on, Hilton said she believes it’s time for Richards to do the same.
