The wife of New York Mets player Francisco Lindor, Katia Lindor, announced on Instagram that her husband recently underwent a vasectomy. She wrote: «After three wonderful children, we decided that our family is complete. ❤️ I carried the kids, now it’s his turn to step up for the team. 😂🙌🏽 Love you, babe! 🥰».
In a video she posted, set to NSYNC’s «Bye Bye Bye», - various snacks with altered names related to the theme of vasectomy were showcased. For example, she introduced «Carefree Lays», - «Snips Ahoy», - and «Now We Shoot» instead of «Milk Duds». At the beginning of the video, Katia held a card that read: «Snip Snip Hooray! It’s Vasectomy Day».
Francisco and Katia got married in December 2021 after the birth of their first daughter, Kalina, in 2020. The couple also has two other daughters: Angelina, 3 years old, and son Koa, 19 months. Last year, Francisco spoke about Katia, noting that she is the backbone of their family and helps raise the children by instilling important values.
Now that he no longer has to worry about unplanned pregnancies, Francisco can focus on regaining his playing form after a disappointing season in which he batted just .225 with an OPS of .733 in 105 games.
