Kelly Clarkson is once again in the spotlight following a conflict with the toy store Art of Play in Brooklyn. The incident occurred when the singer visited the store on Saturday and attempted to purchase an animatronic bird named Molly, which costs $ 15,000.
At an event in Las Vegas, Clarkson appeared in an elegant black outfit and asked the audience, «Are you ready for a good night?» On social media, she claimed that she was treated as if she could not afford to buy the bird. Clarkson compared her experience at the store to a famous scene from the movie «Pretty Woman» starring Julia Roberts.
The Art of Play store responded that they hope to «work things out with Kelly in the future» and that the bird Molly was never for sale, as it plays an important role in their magic shows. They also noted that the bird is «permanently attached to the wall».

In the video, she discusses the bird and then leaves, not noticing the seller pointing at something. Torre confirmed the presence of the price tag but noted that it refers to the only other version of Molly, which is with artist Bliss Kolb. It was also reported that the store has animatronic birds priced at $ 2,000, made by German clockmakers.
