Kelly Osbourne denies taking Ozempic and recalls how her mother Sharon used to do it

Kelly Osbourne denied rumors of whether she took Ozempic in a new interview for Extra on Friday, April 19. Kelly, 39, revealed that although she was able to lose 85 pounds shortly after giving birth, Ozempic was not the secret to her success, but she admitted that her mother Sharon, 71, used it. «I know everyone thinks I took Ozempic. I did not take Ozempic. I don’t know where that came from. My mom took Ozempic», - she said.
Kelly further explained why she pushed herself to lose weight, and the real way she was able to do it. «I had gestational diabetes, and I needed to lose the weight I gained during pregnancy, otherwise I was at risk of developing diabetes, which I did not want», - she told Extra. «I cut out sugar and carbs, and quickly lost weight».
The reality star also explained that she underwent a popular body strengthening procedure called EMFACE and EMSCULPT NEO. «I really wanted to tighten the skin around my neck and chin», - she told journalists.
Although Kelly herself did not take Ozempic, she had previously defended the drug as a weight loss method. In a February interview with E! News, she called it «amazing». «There are a million ways to lose weight, why not do it with something that’s not as boring as working out?» she said. «People criticize it because they want to use it. And those who criticize it the most are those who secretly take it or are annoyed that they can’t afford it. Unfortunately, it’s very expensive right now, but ultimately it will be accessible because it really works».
Sharon had previously shared her experience taking Ozempic, noting that after taking the drug she felt nauseous in an interview with Piers Morgan. Kelly also appeared alongside her mother and expressed her support. «Seeing the confidence and how good my mom feels in her body, I think it’s totally worth it», - she said
