Say goodbye to the old, hello to the new. Kelly Osbourne is saying goodbye to her iconic purple hair and welcoming a blondish style right before the start of summer.
In a new Instagram post published on Wednesday, May 8, renowned stylist Laura Rugetti helped unveil Kelly’s light locks using Hidden Crown Hair and ghd hair. She also credited makeup artist Kip Zachary for the perfect look for the grand reveal.
«Just stunning. Delightful, that face, that skin tone with this blondish. Wow», - wrote one fan in the comments section. Another user added, «Kelly, you look beautiful in any color 💜».
In recent weeks, 39-year-old Kelly has been slowly changing her hair color and documenting her progress on social media. On March 28, the former Fashion Police host first showed fans a glimpse of her new style. «Have you heard I have a new look?» she asked her followers, still showing off purple hair shades.
However, in her new photo, there seems to be no trace of any purple shade, which had been Kelly’s signature look for many years.
«Essentially, my color has become a part of me», - Kelly told PEOPLE magazine back in 2014. «When I first dyed my hair and looked in the mirror, I saw myself and felt like myself. I will never be a natural girl. I will never be simple or plain. The most offensive thing someone could say to me is to call me 'beige'».
Her signature color has allowed other celebrities, such as Nicole Richie and Ireland Baldwin, to try out this shade. Kelly assured fans that she supports others who want to play with hair color. «I'm not the girl who will sit and say, 'You have the same hair as me'», - she told the publication. «I don’t own this color; it just became a part of me».
Currently, Kelly is focused on being the best mom to her 18-month-old son Sid Wilson, the son of Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson.
«I love it. It’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me», - Kelly told E! News in September 2023. «It's scary because you don’t want to make a mistake. My mom is trying to get me to not be so attached to the baby right now because I don’t do anything unless it involves my child, and she’s like, 'You need to take time for yourself.' But I’m trying to do that, and the next thing I know, I’m sneaking out the back door to go back home to my child»
