Ken Urquhart, former fiancé of Gypsy Rose Blanchard, found dead

Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s former fiancé, Ken Urquhart, was found dead on October 1, on what would have been his 34th birthday. According to the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office, Urquhart was discovered unresponsive in a home in Louisiana after a call was made to the police at 6:15 PM. Arriving officers confirmed his death and began an investigation.
Lafourche Parish Coroner, Kyle Bro, stated that an autopsy for Urquhart would be conducted on the morning of October 2 to determine the cause of death.
Family sources told TMZ that Gypsy Rose sent Urquhart a birthday text message but did not receive a response. He was later found in the home by her half-brother, Dylan Blanchard. Ken’s sister, Autumn Urquhart, also confirmed his death via TikTok Live that same evening.
Gypsy Rose and Ken have a daughter together, 21-month-old Aurora Rayne. Their relationship began after Gypsy Rose’s split from her ex-husband Ryan Anderson in March 2024. Ken and Gypsy Rose started communicating while she was in prison, following the release of the HBO documentary «Mommy Dead and Dearest».
Ken proposed to Gypsy Rose in October 2018 while she was still serving her sentence, but the couple broke up the following year. In July 2022, Gypsy Rose married Anderson but filed for divorce less than two years later. In a YouTube video in June 2024, she expressed her joy about her relationship with Ken, emphasizing that it brought her happiness after her release.
