Ken Urquhart, Gypsy Rose’s ex-fiancé, died on his birthday

Ken Urquhart, the former fiancé of Gypsy Rose Blanchard and the father of her child, passed away on Thursday, on his 34th birthday. According to TMZ, he was found unconscious in Louisiana.
The Lafourche Sheriff’s Office reported to the publication that they arrived at a home in Raceland at 6:15 PM and discovered Urquhart dead. An investigation into the circumstances of his death is currently underway. According to TMZ, Gypsy suspected something was wrong when she did not receive a response to her birthday wishes. His brother Dylan reportedly found him.
Although Urquhart and Blanchard were engaged during her incarceration for the murder of her mother, they broke up, and Gypsy married Ryan Anderson. She later returned to Ken, with whom she has a 21-month-old daughter, Aurora Rayne Urquhart.
Gypsy, in shock, told People magazine in an exclusive interview that Ken died from a drug overdose but did not specify whether she believed it was intentional. She said, «I'm in disbelief. I can’t think. I screamed until my throat hurt». In her statement, she added, «Ken was a wonderful father and a person who was deeply loved. He will forever be my soulmate and a connection that time, distance, and even death cannot erase». She particularly noted him as a father, saying, «Above all, Ken loved our daughter, Aurora. She is a beautiful reflection of his indomitable spirit, and through her, a part of him will always remain with us. I will do everything to ensure she knows how deeply her father loved her and who he was, beyond what strangers on the internet said about him».
