Candace Cameron Bure has announced two new Christmas movies for Great American Family, set to be released in 2026. This was reported in an article published by Us Weekly.
Bure, previously known as the «Queen of Hallmark», - left the network in 2022 and signed an exclusive contract with Great American Media. In April of that year, she sparked public controversy by stating that the new network would focus on «traditional family values». Later, the actress apologized for her remarks, noting that she did not intend to offend anyone.
Among the announced films is «Second Chance at Christmas», - which will premiere on October 8 and 10, 2026. In this film, Bure will play the role of Anna, who, along with her ex-husband James, finds themselves in the mountains during a heavy snowstorm, prompting them to reevaluate their relationship. Additionally, in November 2026, the film «Sweet Christmas Anniversary» will be released, in which the characters become involved in a royal mystery while celebrating their first anniversary in a Christmas town.
Candace Cameron Bure is also continuing her work on the series «Ainsley McGregor Mysteries», - where she plays the lead role. The fourth film in this series is currently in production and is expected to be released in 2027.
