Candace Cameron Bure shared joyful news about her grandson’s health, who was born prematurely weighing just 3 pounds. On Instagram, on September 29, the actress introduced her grandson Bond Leo Bure, noting that he was born on August 4, 2026.
Candace revealed that the baby was born 10 weeks early and spent six weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit, where doctors and nurses provided him with wonderful care. She noted that Bond is now home and doing well. The actress expressed her feelings for her grandson, saying, «I didn’t know what kind of love I would have for my grandson. It’s a love unlike anything else, beyond anything I could have imagined. My heart is so full».
Candace’s son, Lev Bure, and his wife, Eliot Bure, announced the birth of their son on September 27, noting that it happened a bit earlier than they had planned. Eliot wrote on Instagram, «Bond was born 10 weeks early, weighed exactly 3 pounds, and was immediately transferred to the intensive care unit. After many tears, countless prayers, and what felt like endless hours in the hospital, after 5 weeks and 5 days, we finally brought our wonderful boy home!»
Candace also commented on this announcement, calling her grandson a «miracle». She added that their hearts are full of love and that they are ready to support the young family. In her new post, she shared about Bond’s first days and weeks of life, emphasizing that he is surrounded by the love of his parents, aunt and uncle, as well as two sets of grandparents.
