Kendrick Lamar released a video for the track 'Not Like Us' in response to Drake: details

Rapper Kendrick Lamar wants to make it clear to Drake that the only important track in their public battle right now is «Not Like Us».
On Thursday, the 37-year-old rapper from Compton released the long-awaited music video for this song, which arose from his conflict with the 37-year-old Canadian rapper. The song became one of the most popular of the summer and a general hit, reaching the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
On June 19 at his concert 'The Pop Out: Ken & Friends', Lamar performed «Not Like Us» six times in a row in his hometown of Los Angeles, where he also brought a team of musicians such as Dr. Dre, YG, Tyler the Creator, Schoolboy Q, and others. After that, he was seen in Compton with a whole community ready to support him for a victory lap along the West Coast.
The video, directed by Lamar and Dave Free, features several cameos from well-known figures from the West Coast, including hit producer Masterd, who also wore a Toronto Blue Jays cap in one of the more obvious jabs at Drake.
At the beginning of the video, Tommy Clown lets Lamar into a metallic room, after which the rapper does push-ups on concrete blocks, hinting at Drake’s track «Push Ups», after Drake mentioned an image of Lamar doing exercise in his release.
Fans also noticed that Lamar’s fiancée Whitney Alford and their two children appear in the video, dancing in the living room. Alford was the subject of discussion in one of Drake’s diss tracks «Family Matters», where the rapper claimed that co-director of the video and long-time collaborator of Lamar, Dave Free, is the father of one of Lamar’s children with his fiancée.
Overall, it seems that with this music video, Drake needs to make a clear concession. Perhaps he should just «Laugh now, cry later»
