Kendrick Lamar will perform at his first concert after his conflict with Drake was resolved on Wednesday, June 19. Rapper Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers, 36 years old, announced that he will hold a concert called «The Pop Out» at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, on Juneteenth. The rapper also hinted that he will have friends who will come out and join him at the show.

The announcement states that Kendrick will have special guests, but it does not specify who will join him. The show poster is designed as a license plate with all the details about the show. The performance is presented by pgLang and Free Lunch, according to Pitchfork. Ticket sales will start with a Cash App presale on Thursday, June 6, and general ticket sales will begin on Friday, June 7.

The announcement came about four weeks after Kendrick’s conflict with Drake, 37 years old, seemed to have ended, following the release of the track «The Heart Part 6» by the «Degrassi» alum, in which a long series of K. Dot songs is mentioned. In the song, Drake claimed to have given Kendrick false information to see if he would use it in his diss tracks. «You need to learn to fact-check and be less impatient», - he sings in the song, where he also denied relationships with underage girls. «I've never been with underage girls, but now I understand why that’s the angle you really like».

The conflict between Drake and Kendrick dates back to when Drake included the song «First Person Shooter» on his album For All The Dogs. J. Cole talked about a trio of rappers who are the «big three» of rap, which ultimately led Kendrick to respond a few months later with a guest verse in the song «Like That» by Future and Metro Boomin.

After Kendrick’s response, Cole released his own diss track aimed at the rapper To Pimp a Butterfly, but quickly retracted it. Later, Drake released his own diss track, but Kendrick responded with the song «euphoria», - followed by a series of venomous diss tracks, culminating in the song «Not Like Us», - which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Drake ended with his track «The Heart Part 6», - but despite this, fans mostly acknowledged Kendrick’s victory
