Kesha clearly and loudly expressed her feelings about the legal problems of Sean «Diddy» Combs during her performance with Renee Rapp at the Coachella festival. After the star of «Mean Girls» introduced the 37-year-old pop star on stage, they began to perform her hit «TiK ToK» with noticeable changes to the lyrics.

Both singers hugged for a moment as the crowd applauded, then Kesha started her song with the words: «Wake up in the morning, feeling like f**k P Diddy! Put my glasses on, walk out the door / I’m gonna hit this city».

In the original first line of the song, Kesha sings: «Wake up in the morning, feeling like P. Diddy», then Diddy, 54, responds: «Hey, girl».

Renee and Kesha performed on the Outdoor Theatre Stage in Indio, California, during the first weekend of the annual music festival.

Kesha’s lyric change came against the backdrop of a series of legal problems for Diddy over the past few months. In late 2023, his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura accused him of rape and assault. They settled the lawsuit the same month. However, several other women came forward with allegations of sexual violence against the rapper in early 2024.

Diddy’s legal problems reached a climax on March 25, when his properties in Los Angeles and Miami were raided by Homeland Security agents. According to NBC News, «three women and a man were questioned by federal officials in Manhattan in connection with allegations of sex trafficking, sexual violence, as well as incitement and distribution of illegal drugs and weapons».

In response to the federal raids, Diddy’s lawyer, Aaron Dyer, condemned the investigation and called it «an abuse of power» by law enforcement.

«Yesterday there was an abuse of military force during the searches of Mr. Combs' homes», - Dyer said in a statement. «There is no justification for the excessive use of force and hostility by authorities or the treatment of his children and employees. This unprecedented ambush, accompanied by an advanced, coordinated media presence, leads to the premature condemnation of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on unfounded allegations made in civil lawsuits. None of these allegations have resulted in criminal or civil liability. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every day to clear his name».

Earlier this month, Diddy’s son Christian «King» Combs was accused of sexual violence.
