Haters won’t stop until Kesha enters. The 37-year-old singer recently stopped comments about her body on her Instagram in a post published on Sunday, July 7.
The post started with the singer «Tiktok» posing in a black bikini on the ground, followed by a photo with a robe over the swimsuit and a hat with the inscription «I'd rather hunt ghosts».
The caption read: «I didn’t think that in 2024 people still judge bodies, but. I am very proud of my body, it has been through a lot. It tore a ligament on stage and finished the performance. It held my damn broken heart together. To those who think they are judging me, you actually make me very strong. So, hate me harder, baby:)».
Kesha became popular in the early 2010s and was known for hits at that time like «Right Round» featuring Flo Rida, «Your Love Is My Drug», «We R Who We R» and others. Although she was an artist many grew up with, many did not understand what was happening behind closed doors.
In 2014, she faced a legal battle with her music producer at the time, Dr. Luke. The artist accused the 50-year-old of rape, drugging, and abuse throughout her career.
Despite the challenges she faced in her music career, she focused on her career and has since released albums Animal, Cannibal, Warrior, Rainbow, High Road, and her latest album Gag Order.
Her latest single «JOYRIDE», released on July 4, became the hit of the year.
Looking back on everything she has been through, she shared on Saturday, July 6, through an Instagram post: «7 years ago today. As I speed like a maniac into this iconic chapter of my life, I can’t help but appreciate how hard it was to achieve this joy. Thank you to all the animals who were with me then, I love you and pray for you. You are strong stubborn trash. I am proud of you»
