Zeta-Jones shared that in the pilot episode, she used her Welsh accent, which she had never applied in her roles before. She emphasized that the opportunity to speak in her own voice helped her better understand the character and not get distracted by the accent.
The actress also recalled the 1998 film «The Mask of Zorro», - which she said was a turning point in her life. She mentioned that Steven Spielberg saw her in the television version of «Titanic» and decided to invite her for the role in «Zorro». Zeta-Jones noted that at that time, her future husband, Michael Douglas, was also watching the film with his family, and now they are preparing to celebrate their 26th wedding anniversary.
