Kevin Jonas puts his health first. The Jonas Brothers member revealed that he recently underwent surgery to remove skin cancer.
«Today I’m getting a basal cell carcinoma removed from my head», - Kevin, 36, said via Instagram on Tuesday, June 11. «Yes, it’s a small skin cancer that started growing. And now I need to have it removed, so here we go».
The singer showed off a bandage on his forehead. At the same time, he made sure to cover the wound itself with a surprised emoji.
«Alright, I did it. Now time to heal», - he said as he left the doctor’s office. «Heading home. Make sure to check those moles, people».

According to the Mayo Clinic, basal cell carcinoma most often occurs on areas of skin exposed to sunlight, such as the head and neck. It manifests as a change in the skin, such as a bump or sore that doesn’t heal.
When detected early, basal cell carcinoma rarely spreads or metastasizes to nearby lymph nodes and other areas of the body.
