Roles recently changed for Miles Teller, as his wife, Keleigh Teller, made a proposal to him on their fifth wedding anniversary.
The 37-year-old actor, who has been married to 31-year-old Keleigh since 2019, was surprised when Keleigh decided to ask for his hand in marriage — again. In an Instagram post, Keleigh marked their special day with the caption: «Early surprise-5 year wedding anniversary. Miles always said it was unfair that men don’t get proposals, so I did it for him with his dreamy boat».
Keleigh, who appeared in Taylor Swift’s music video «The Man», gifted the «Top Gun: Maverick» star a «dreamy boat» with an olive-green exterior, beige interior, and decorated with Philadelphia Eagles memorabilia, an anniversary poster, and a label on the back that read «Teller Camp».
The surprise was as shocking as when Miles first got down on one knee during an African safari. According to People magazine, he proposed in August 2017, placing a note and a rose on a tree that read: «May 11, 2013 — August 20, 2017… it was the first day I asked you to be my girlfriend, and today — the last day you’ll wake up as my girlfriend».
In a 2019 interview with Vogue, the «Divergent» actor recalled: «Keleigh caught my eye early in the evening, and we talked… I thought it didn’t go very well, but after a few attempts, I got her to dance with me, and a week later we went on a date. After our meeting, I realized she was the one».
The couple openly talks about their relationship, often attending award ceremonies together.
