Last weekend, Casey Musgraves took her country to a concert by Zac Bryan at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
«No, you will never be the man you always swore you’d be, but I’ll remember how you sang in that '88 Ford», - wrote the 35-year-old singer in a photo she posted, where they both sing on stage.
The 28-year-old country singer invited Casey to sing their duet hit «I Remember Everything».
«I was asked if I wanted to perform this song, and of course I said, 'I'm ready,' but I felt bad. My throat hurt. I had just returned from a trip. And I was told, 'We need to hurry, if you want to be in this song, you need to make it by this day.' It was in a couple of days, and I said, okay, I’ll try. I went to the studio and realized that my voice wasn’t quite cooperating, and I hoped it wouldn’t be awful… But I managed the song, and I did it, and I thought, okay, I’m pretty sure about this», - she recalled the story of recording the song during an interview on the «Today» show.
«I left the studio and immediately went to the doctor, and it turned out I had streptococcus. And I wrote to the engineer, 'Sorry, I have streptococcus, and I was so close to you,'» she continued.
The «Rainbow» singer shared other photos of her two-piece denim suit, complemented by cowboy boots and silver cuff earrings, in an Instagram post captioned «The little girl in her blue jeans».
Prior to this carousel on Instagram, she posted a video of herself proudly walking down the street to Nancy Sinatra’s song «These Boots Are Made For Walkin'».
This performance took place several months after she announced the release of her album «Deeper Well». «My new album, Deeper Well, is out now. Grateful for life and constantly inspired by the little mysteries and pleasures of life. Huge thanks to my team and reliable co-writers», - she noted in her Instagram post
