Kate Beckinsale seems to be giving us a little glimpse into what happened during her recent health scare. After a recent hospitalization, the actress seems to have returned home and made a fashionable statement.
On Wednesday, April 17, Kate, 50, shared several photos of herself on Instagram, dressed in a t-shirt with a graphic print that read «Survived after stomach problems».
As a caption to the photo, the actress used a flexing bicep emoji and a heart to show how strong she is after her health scare.
Although details of her hospitalization remain a mystery, Kate first documented her visit in March when she shared photos on her Instagram Stories.
In one of the now-deleted posts, Kate was seen reading the book «Grief Works» by Sloan Crosley. Before her hospitalization, the «Widow» star mourned the loss of her stepfather, British director Roy Battersby, in January.
The British actress also took to Instagram on March 11 to share a series of photos, including a tearful selfie taken from a hospital bed, in honor of Mother’s Day in the UK and her mother Judy Loe’s birthday.
In one of the photos, Kate’s mother smiled in front of a cake. In other images, the star’s dogs from «Underworld» stood nose to nose on hospital beds.
«Thank you to those who love and support us when things aren’t going smoothly, and try to make sure there’s at least a little good», - Kate wrote in the now-deleted post. «And for taking care of our dogs when we can’t, and reminding us of happy moments when we can’t. And coming when we’re sick and sitting with us… And sending us balloons and caring and pulling us out of wells with love».
«Thank you for loving us», - she added, «and especially for my mom’s ability to find joy. It’s so inspiring and beautiful. Happy everything, mom. Your fight for joy, despite tears, is a warrior’s experience to witness. I love you x».
Based on Kate’s latest Instagram, the actress now just wants to enjoy quality time with her pets. And while she tries to rest, Kate has the support of many fans.
