Kaitlyn Clark is not one of the women competing as part of the USA basketball team at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, but she intends to make the team by 2028. The Indiana Fever player, a 22-year-old athlete, was asked how she feels watching the team’s performances overseas, and she said she feels motivated to start working to make the team, knowing how quickly four years can fly by.
The WNBA player was asked if she is upset watching the Olympics and not being able to participate herself, and she said she really just feels motivated. «I mean, it’s definitely cool. It’s like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that you only get once every four years. So I wouldn’t say I’m mostly upset», - she told reporters. «I think it gives you something to work for and dream about».
Kaitlyn also knows that time can fly by very quickly. «Four years go by fast», - she explained. «It makes me think, that’s your time in college. And I feel like I was just a freshman in college.
