Khloé Kardashian opened up about her attitude towards marriage: «I'm not ready yet»

Chloe Kardashian does not rule out the possibility of marriage, she revealed during a new episode of the show «Keeping Up with the Kardashians». The 39-year-old founder of Good American opened up about considering long-term relationships in the future during a scene from the episode that aired on Thursday, June 20. Sitting with her best friend Malika Haqq, Chloe admitted that, as a public figure and mother, she wants to be cautious in her approach to dating.
«It's a scary world — phones everywhere», - the reality star began. «I definitely think that what I’ve been through influences why I’m not just like, 'Let's start dating again!'»
Chloe went through a public breakup with her ex Tristan Thompson. They co-parent their children, True and Tatum Thompson, amicably. However, after dating since 2016, NBA player Tristan, 33, became a father to a child named Theo with Maralee Nichols in 2021 while still in a relationship with Chloe. By the end of that year, his paternity scandal came to light, ultimately ending their relationship.
During the latest episode of «Keeping Up with the Kardashians», - the mother of two also noted that she doesn’t want to «mess up her kids» by getting into a new romance.
«So much has already happened that could potentially mess them up, that I don’t want to add to that by bringing someone new into the mix, because people have been very disappointing so far», - Chloe added. «I'm just not going to be as open as I used to be, but I don’t think that’s a bad thing. I also think that’s part of growing up, you learn to protect yourself».
Despite her uncertainty about dating, the «Keeping Up with the Kardashians» alum said she is still open to marriage in the future. Before meeting Tristan, Chloe was married to her ex-husband Lamar Odom from 2009 to 2016.
«I can’t give up now, I’m not even 40 yet!» she said. «One day I’ll be married again, I love love. I’ll get my fairytale. I know it will happen one day, but right now I’m not ready».
Responding to a producer’s off-camera question about her family members saying she needs to «put herself out there more», - Chloe concluded: «I love sharing my life with myself, with my kids. I don’t need anyone. When I’m ready to date, I will. And trust me, if I like someone, I’ll announce it publicly».
