Kim Kardashian welcomed her reality show colleague in the latest episode of «Kardashian: Gypsy Rose Blanchard»! In the episode released on Thursday, July 11, 43-year-old Kim discussed prison reform with 32-year-old «Life After Lockup» star Gypsy Rose and gave her some advice on social media.

«Sometimes you just have to post — and I mean — post and then disappear», - Kim told Gypsy Rose. «I think the way you will live on is a deep message… You survived hell and came back».

The SKIMS boss then explained why she wanted to meet Gypsy in the first place.

«I wouldn’t want to meet someone I thought was only capable of influencing for the sake of sensationalism», - Kim told Gypsy Rose. «I understand that you can make a big impression because you can really explain what you’ve been through and how to deal with it».

Kim referred to Gypsy Rose’s past prison sentence and her experience with her late mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. Gypsy spent seven years behind bars for her involvement in Dee Dee’s murder. (Dee Dee was killed by Gypsy Rose’s ex-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn) As a child, Gypsy Rose was a victim of Munchausen syndrome by proxy: when a caregiver or guardian fabricates the appearance of health problems. For years, Dee Dee convinced everyone that her daughter was living with multiple illnesses.

Gypsy was released from prison in December 2023.

During the conversation with Kim in a new episode of her Hulu series, Gypsy Rose noted: «I think a lot of people are really afraid to touch on me as a topic because I’m too controversial… Now, looking back on it, I understand that I could have done things differently, and it would have ended with my mother in prison. Did she deserve prison? Yes».

Gypsy Rose also talked about her time in prison, recalling moments when she cried and felt «vulnerable» in front of other inmates.

«Crying in prison, you’re so vulnerable, especially women, they’re so mean», - Gypsy Rose explained. «Their first reaction: 'Well, you killed her, so why are you crying about it?'»

During the candid conversation, Kim noted that she believes in «second chances in life» and acknowledged Gypsy Rose’s «whole background»
