Kim Kardashian is an open book. The reality show star is juggling motherhood and a divorce from former Kanye «Ye» West, while pursuing new ventures in Hollywood, business, and prison reform. During her collaboration with Hulu for All’s Fair, Kim revealed during the premiere of the seventh season of her family’s show that she had a brain aneurysm in the past — and attributed it to the stress of her divorce from Ye.

Before moving into her luxurious mansion in California, Kim lived in an apartment and was able to get help from her neighbor, a dermatologist. «It was all over my stomach and legs. Luckily, in my apartment complex at the time, my neighbor was a dermatologist», - she explained in the same post. «I showed it to him, and he said to come into the office, and he would give me a cortisone shot, and hopefully, it would go away (since it was my first major flare-up). I did, and my psoriasis completely disappeared for about five years».
Psoriasis is known as a skin condition that can cause «itchy, scaly patches», - as reported by the Mayo Clinic. Over the years, Kim experienced these patches and documented her flare-ups through photos and videos posted on social media. Later in her blog, the SKIMS co-founder revealed that she has a persistent «spot» that often returns on her right lower leg. «I can always count on my main spot on my right lower leg that is constantly inflamed. I’ve learned to live with this spot without using any creams or medications — I just deal with it», - she wrote. «Sometimes I cover it, and sometimes I don’t. It doesn’t bother me much».
Kim inherited this skin condition from her mother, Kris Jenner, who passed on this trait only to Kim. Additionally, Kim suffers from psoriatic arthritis, a type of arthritis caused by her skin condition. Recently, in October 2023, she opened up to Refinery29 about her chronic condition. «I'm still very embarrassed about my psoriasis and what causes it», - Kim told the publication. «Sometimes I’ll be completely stressed out, and I won’t have a single psoriasis spot. Sometimes I’ll be as calm as ever, and my psoriasis will flare up completely. It’s supposed to be the other way around. I’ve kind of given up trying to figure it out».

An unruptured aneurysm usually has no symptoms but is detected during testing.
