Kim Kardashian shared how many nannies help her take care of her four children. In an interview published on October 3 in the British publication The Times, she revealed that she has «one nanny on duty and four on rotation». Kardashian is the primary caregiver for her children from her ex-husband Kanye West: daughters North (13 years old) and Chicago (8 years old), as well as sons Saint (10 years old) and Psalm (7 years old).
Kardashian tries to drop her kids off at school and pick them up every day, and she has dinner with them every evening. She described herself as a «moderately strict mother», - noting that she is «very patient and loving». According to her, one of the children sometimes sleeps in her bed, and she reads them books every night.
Kardashian also shared her concerns about how her children deal with fame, especially after North released her debut EP titled N0rth4evr this year. «I really worry about this», - she admitted. «Every child does what they are comfortable with. My younger kids come around when I’m filming, but they don’t participate in the storylines. North enjoys it a little more than the others. I try to limit her involvement so we can manage this process properly».
She noted that she and Kanye West have established communication regarding North’s music projects. Kardashian and West, who divorced in 2021 after seven years of marriage, have found common ground thanks to their eldest daughter’s passion for music. Kim agreed that they are «in a much better place now» because of this.
Kim also emphasized the importance of respecting West’s opinions regarding their children, especially in the context of North’s music career. «It's important for the kids that everything else stays aside», - she added.
