Kimi Antonelli wins US Grand Prix, but title awaits in Mexico
Kimi Antonelli won the US Grand Prix, which took place on October 25 in Austin, Texas, but his chance to claim the world championship title was postponed. The 20-year-old driver started from pole position and was confidently heading towards victory, but for him to become champion, Lewis Hamilton needed to finish no higher than fifth place, and his teammate George Russell no higher than ninth. In the end, Hamilton finished in fourth place, while Russell came in eighth.

Antonelli’s next opportunity to secure the title will be next week in Mexico, where finishing ninth or better will suffice. If this happens, he will become the youngest champion in Formula 1 history. In a post-race interview, Antonelli noted that the team deserves this victory and expressed satisfaction with the successful execution of the race strategy.

Antonelli also shared his expectations for the upcoming race in Mexico, emphasizing that he wants to win the title with a strong result.

Additionally, Allwyn, the company that sponsored the race, donated € 100,000 (approximately $ 133,000) to the Del Valle ISD Education Fund, which works to improve educational opportunities for students in Texas. This nonprofit organization was the winner of the F1 Allwyn Global Community Award, aimed at supporting initiatives that have a positive impact on society. The executive director of the fund, Josh Thomas, spoke about the importance of this support for local students and their future.
