Courtney Kardashian shares a moment with her little one with fans! The 44-year-old star photographed Rocky Thirteenth Barker — whom she shares with husband Travis Barker — during a family vacation in Turks and Caicos over the weekend, and posted it on Instagram on Tuesday, April 9.
The carousel post consisted of several photos, including stunning landscapes. In one of the slides, a little foot of Rocky sitting on his mother’s lap above the pool was visible.
Courtney gave birth to her son with Travis in November 2023. Her pregnancy began in June of the same year, when she announced at a Blink-182 concert that she was expecting a child with the drummer. Many internet users pointed out the risks associated with giving birth at 40. However, the Kardashian star opened up about her previous infertility journey and subsequent pregnancy in Vanity Fair Italia.
«These comments don’t bother me», - Courtney said. «I just say, 'How can you doubt God’s plan?' Because that’s how I see this pregnancy, which came when neither Travis nor I were thinking about it, and a year after we stopped IVF».
Later that same year, the founder of Lemme was suddenly hospitalized for emergency fetal surgery. Neither Courtney nor Travis, 48, publicly disclosed the nature of the complication. However, she wrote a touching post on Instagram, thanking her doctors for «saving» her child’s life.
«I am forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our child’s life», - she wrote in her caption. «I am eternally grateful to my husband, who dropped everything and rushed to me from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand at that moment. As someone who had three very easy pregnancies in the past, I was not prepared for the fear of emergency fetal surgery. I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can understand that feeling of fear. I now have a completely new understanding and respect for mothers who fight for their children during pregnancy».
